Flip It!
Bottle Emptying Stand
Project Scope:
The client approached us looking for several packaging solutions to house one of his most prestigious wines. He gave us his budget and asked to see concepts that ranged from low to high in regards to price. He provided inspirational imagery for the types of materials he was considering as well as a technical line drawing of the bottle for me to build around.

Initial Ideation
I worked closely with out sales team to quickly generate some ideas in house that ranged in price but fit within the clients budget. We narrowed it down to three directions from which I began to build upon.

Concept Refinement
The first round of concepts were presented with renderings that I created in Keyshot. The client provided artwork files which included graphics, colors and typefaces he was hoping to see implemented during this phase. My goal was to showcase various finish treatments early on and narrow down his preference from there.
Material & Finish Considerings
- Maple, walnut and cherry veneered MDF
- Brass clasps and hinges
- Gold plated steel plaques
- Laser etched, screen printed and inlaid graphics
- Flocked EVA foam inserts
Final Concept Renders
The triangular packaging concept was ultimately chosen with a piano gloss black finish.
