High Wire Distilling Co.
Jimmy Red 10th Anniversary Whiskey Box
Project Scope:
High Wire distilling approached Jansy Packaging looking for a premium secondary box to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their prized bourban whiskey, Jimmy Red. This whiskey is made from a red corn that nearly went extinct and provides an unusually creamy mouthfeel in the distillate. The owners wanted to highlight this treasured ingredient in the packaging design.

Branding
Visual Direction
Located in the heart of historic downtown Charleston, SC, High Wire Distilling Company is dedicated to making premium, small batch spirits. Their approach is simple: seek the finest ingredients available and develop recipes using a creative, culinary approach. All of their products are batch distilled in a hand-hammered, German copper still to create the finest Southern spirits available.
Concepts
The first round of concepts were presented with renderings that I created in Keyshot. The client provided artwork files which included graphics, colors and typefaces he was hoping to see implemented during this phase. My goal was to showcase various finish treatments early on and narrow down his preference from there.
